Should Producers be allowed to vote for PAC absentee on ACTV.tv?
Some producers have aproahed me saying they will be out of town on the 20th and they want their vote to count. At the moment the interim PAC does not have provisions for absentee voting. Should we allow those producers to vote here at ACTV.tv? You must make your opinion known before January 13th at 7pm when the PAC meets again. |

I think this website kicks @$$ and we should use it. Since your vote is not annonymous I have no problem using this site for absentee ballots. |

| Your vote is NOT secret. As a representative, your votes on issues and comments are viewable by the public. Your choice of representative is NOT viewable by the public. But, as absentee voting in general is a source of corruption, I support it being public. Ballots must remain open for a full (monthly) cycle so that each Producer has a chance to review proposals at their convenience. This ballot will close on Feb 28th. Too bad the Interim PAC didn't work this out in the 5 months(!!!) they had to prepare the election. (also: Producers can change their votes, and Proposers can withdraw proposals.) |
